A New Heart, a New Start

Ezekiel 36:26-27

26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.

27 I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.

If we will turn to the Lord, He promises us a new heart a new heart.

A new spirit, that will be softer and kinder.

And a new start in life, a life with integrity and mercy.

If you're tired of the emptiness of man's society.

The false promises that never come true.

If you're tired of yourself.

A life with no purpose but to try and satisfy your selfish desires.

These things that turn to dust in your mouth.

When the worldly goods no longer make you happy.

When you realize money isn't the answer.

When you tire of wealth that always cries for more.

Pleasures that are never enough.

Perversity that grows and you are never satisfied.

When you get to that point in your life.

When you realize these things, desires and pleasures of sin and selfishness, are just empty and vain.

Don't misunderstand, I want you to realize this now, not later.

I was not rich when I came to this realization.

My sinful desires were never fulfilled, but I came to know how empty they were.

But when you come to this conclusion, hopefully now, soon.

Turn to the Lord.

Turn to the One Who can make your life meaningful.

Who will change your heart and teach you the true ways of love and righteousness.

Accept the Lord's mission as your own.

Learn to love your neighbor.

Love them enough to take action.

To help them physically and spiritually.

That is the new heart and the new start.
