Psalm 121:1-2

1 I will lift up my eyes to the hills—

From whence comes my help?

2 My help comes from the Lord,

Who made heaven and earth.

Hebrews 4:16

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

These verses speak to us in our times of trial and need.

Where does our help come from?

Does it come from the hills or mountains?

No, it comes from God, Who made the heavens and the earth.

God provides our help in dangerous times.

When our soul is at risk, our eternal life threatened.

The Lord delivers us with mercy and grace, forgiving us and restoring us.

In times of temptation, the Father gives us His strength to rely on.

God is our rock and salvation.

In times of doubt, Jesus is there to encourage us with His example of love.

Even as Peter said, Jesus has the words of eternal life.

And in the Lord's example of courage, we find new boldness and bravery.

As He took every step toward the cross to save us.

The Lord is our help, our mercy, our encouragement; He is our everything.

No matter what trouble you may have, Look to Jesus, our Savior.
