Ecclesiastes 12:13-14
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:
Fear God and keep His commandments,
For this is man’s all.
14 For God will bring every work into judgment,
Including every secret thing,
Whether good or evil.
"The conclusion of the whole matter."
The answer to this life.
To have a good life here and eternally.
This is the final solution for us.
The answer to all the questions.
To revere, be in awe of God.
Recognize Him as the power and source of everything.
Keep His commandments.
Follow what He has told us in His word.
For us this is the Bible.
To follow the Bible, the teachings of God, this is our duty.
This is our purpose.
What is expected of us.
Then see the promise and the warning.
Everything we do will be brought into judgment.
Every secret thing.
Every evil thing.
And every good thing.
There are those who do good secretly.
And those who do evil secretly.
We will be rewarded according to our deeds.
How we fulfill our duty to the Lord.
