Perfect Gift

James 1:16-18

16 Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren.

17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

18 Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.

God does not want us deceived.

He wants us to know the truth of Who He is and what He has done and is doing and will do.

God gives us every perfect gift, everything He gives us is perfect and good.

We may, as people, abuse those gifts, or use them incorrectly for sin, but God gives us good and perfect things.

God, the Creator does not change.

He is the source of all light and thus shadows are produced from light, but He does not change the way those shadows change with our movement and perspective.

God is not moved nor does His perspective change.

He is the Perfect Father.

God created us, humans, to be His foremost creation, His children.

Everything that He has given us is subject to us.

God's will birthed us to have dominion and subdue the earth.

To rule what He has given us.

Not to abuse, or waste, or destroy.

Remember that Adam was tending the garden.

God gave him a perfect garden to cultivate and grow.

In that same manner, we are given life, to cultivate and grow the kingdom of the Lord.

God gives us everything we need in this life for that purpose.

We, His children are a kind of first fruits, we live as a sacrifice to our Father, until the kingdom fully comes, and we are with the Lord forever.

We are not THE First Fruit, that is Jesus, Who has gone before us and was also a perfect gift from the Father.

A sacrifice to cleanse us and the resurrected Lord to give us eternal life.
