Christ Lives In Us

Galatians 2:20

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

We died in baptism.

Our previous life, our old man should be dead to us.

We are dead.

We have died to this life, this world, to sin.

We no longer exist in that world.

We are only Jesus inhabiting us.

That's how we should be.

Is this how we are living?

Have we accepted salvation only to go back to the dead world we were in before we knew Christ?

Christ lives in us, but if we do not represent Jesus, are we crucifying Him again?

Are we making His sacrifice in vain?

If we have been baptized, then from that point forward, it is our responsibility to grow closer to Jesus, our Lord.

It is up to us to learn to imitate Him in this life.

It is a process that takes time.

We are not perfect, but we can press forward to that goal.

The goal of Christ.

Let's make our lives Christ in us.

It is no longer us who live, but Jesus Christ in us.

He is the source of our salvation and our life.

Jesus washes away our sins, we wear His righteousness, not our own.

We live by faith in Him, God's Son.

Let His light shine into the darkness.

If we do not show the world Christ, no one will.

Don't try to "be you".

Strive to be like Jesus.
