1 Timothy 4:1-3
1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,
2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron,
3 forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.
These verses talk about the great apostasy (falling away or rejection of God) that will happen before the coming of Christ.
"Some will depart from the faith."
This means they were with the faith before they left it.
"Giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons" means the people are being deceived.
Christians being deceived and lured away from the Lord.
By believing something other than the gospel.
"Speaking lies in hypocrisy" means they will promote these deceptions and demonic beliefs.
We see this today, in society already.
People who once were Christians, now supporting abortion, homosexuality, sex changes for children.
They have been deceived to believe something other than the gospel of Christ.
It takes amazing hardness of heart to call for murdering children.
But a number of people professing Christ support that practice up to the point of birth.
A number of people pretending to be Christians promote homosexuality and perversion.
Even on children.
They do not believe the Bible.
Their conscience has been seared.
They do not feel love toward their fellow man or the children.
Essentially, their conscience is dead, their heart is so very hard.
In verse 3 it says, "forbidding to marry", but the Greek word actually means to hinder or prevent.
What we see in our culture is people being dissuaded, told that marriage and the family have no value.
And we also see the elites and others trying to control our food.
What we should eat, because natural food is harmful to the climate.
While other, more profitable foods are not.
Be aware of all these things.
See them for the signs they are.
Warn everyone you can.
Anyone who will listen.
Jesus is returning, be ready.
Get right with God and avoid His judgment and wrath.
